Suzanne and Leonard’s gorgeous Surf Club New Rochelle wedding had something I hadn’t seen in several months : sunshine! We started our day at the Ritz Carlton in White Plains, moved to the Church of Annunciation in Crestwood for the ceremony, headed off to Glen Island Park for portraits, and then headed to New Rochelle for the portraits and wedding reception. Suzanne indicated that documenting the moments of the day were the most important thing to her, and they certainly provided us with many, many tearful, funny, and fantastic moments. I love how deeply Suzanne and Leonard love their family, their friends, and each other. If this wedding is an indication of what 2015 will bring, it’s going to be a very good year indeed.

The day started in Suzanne’s room at the Ritz Carlton, White Plains.

I had barely been shooting for thirty seconds, when Suzanne was in tears over Leonard’s letter. It’s always a good sign of things to come when a moment this lovely is your fourth frame of the wedding day!

How adorable is this flower girl outfit? A simple black leotard, detailed headband, and a fantastic tulle skirt. I love this moment between the oldest flower girl and her mother!

Suzanne’s Vera Wang bridal gown was gorgeous. The intricacies of the dress were really exceptional.

Rosa Russo did an amazing job on Suzanne’s wedding day look.

The bridesmaid’s shirt says “Epic Weekend.” Incredibly fitting, don’t you think?

I always try to find somewhere pretty to hang the dress while photographing it. That also ensures that it’s set up for a great photograph when the bride goes to take it off the hanger!

It’s always so lovely when the bride and groom take a second to turn around and really LOOK at their congregation. There were so many happy, smiling faces – I’m glad they got to take it all in!

I’m always on the lookout for great moments during the family formal time of the day. This little ring bearer kept making one great face after another!

After the ceremony, it was off to Glen Island Park for a few sunset photographs of the bride and groom alone.

Isn’t Suzanne’s hair amazing? I love it when brides wear their hair down!

The sun came out for the first time in what felt like YEARS while we were at Glen Island Park. I love that you can see the sun shining down while there is still snow on the ground!

Suzanne’s Vera Wang dress fit her perfectly, and I really loved the addition of the gunmetal-beaded belt.

Suzanne and Leonard are really, really charming together. I am so glad that the sun came out for these portraits of them together!

The Surf Club New Rochelle has a really charming ballroom, and I especially like the addition of the bride and groom’s last name on the dance floor!

The chandeliers in the ballroom at the Surf Club New Rochelle are my favorite part of the space. Suzanne and Leonard, thank you so much for having us as a part of your beautiful day. I hope your honeymoon was tremendous!
